Thompson Coburn Moot Court Competition
The annual Thompson Coburn intramural moot court competition gives College of Law students the opportunity practice their written and oral advocacy skills. Competition teams write a brief, then argue both sides of an appellate case.
The TC Moot Court Competition returns on October 3-4, 2026. Deadline to sign up is September 18, 2026.

1Ls and 1Es are not eligible to compete, but can serve as a competition volunteer.
Participation in good faith as an advocate will satisfy your Advocacy Requirement for graduation.
Finalists will also earn scholarship money, thanks to generous contributions from the Dallas office of the national law firm Thompson Coburn LLP.
